Hospitable (formerly Smartbnb) is excellent for automated text messaging. But it has a major gap: zero phone call capability. When a guest calls instead of texting, Hospitable cannot help. And guests do call, especially in emergencies.
Kazza answers exactly where Hospitable cannot: on the phone. It picks up 24/7 with a natural French and English voice, knows your property details through a dedicated number per property, and transfers to the host with an SMS recap when needed.
| Feature | Kazza | Hospitable |
|---|---|---|
| Phone call answering | Yes, 24/7 with natural AI voice | No, zero voice capability |
| Natural voice FR + EN | Yes | No |
| Voice emergency handling | Immediate transfer to host | Impossible (no voice channel) |
| Property knowledge | Complete (WiFi, codes, rules) | Text templates |
| Base price | EUR 19/month flat | USD 25/month (2 properties) |
| PMS required | No, works standalone | No, but strongly recommended |
For hosts who want their guests to be able to call and get an immediate response 24/7, Kazza is the obvious choice. Hospitable simply does not answer the phone. If text messaging is your only need, Hospitable works, but for the vast majority of hosts, the voice channel is essential.
